Do you ever try to save electricity at home.

I wonder how effective my efforts are, if I try to save electricity at home. My father always stressed the importance of saving electricty because he thought that it is the first step to save money and keep our environment. He used to scold me if I didn\'t turn off the light switch. Actually, he is baby boomer which had hard time to make money and economic status in my country was really bad. He was born with having habbit to save everything. I don\'t think I resemble him, but I have done similar things that I hated. Therefore, I don\'t know how to spend money because my father taught it as clearly showing the way to save money in daily life. What I do for saving electricity is turnning off all devices if I don\'t use it and alway pull the plug out to cut the remainning current. My family prefer to use fans than AC because we don\'t like unnatural strong wind and want to save electricity in summer.
