We have a due date for most of our tasks at work. We should finish then on time or before the due date. It is quite stressful to do work in a hectic schedule. However, we might get things done more when we have a full schedule. When we have an empty schedule, we tend to be lazy. We might not push ourselves hard enough to give it a best shot when we have too much time. When we have a full schedule, even if we don’t get everything done as we wanted to or planned, we would accomplish many of them because we will be exerting ourselves. Nobody can be granted more time in the day. So, how to use time more effectively is the key in determining your success. In order to get more done in the time that we do have, we need to aggressively guard our schedule. We should not be interrupted. I don’t mean not taking meetings. We should manage the balance and sequence of events in our day to bring about maximum productivity. This is one of the most powerful things we can do for ourselves.
