Do you know anyone who has successfully quit smoking? How did they do it?
학생이 쓴 원문
One of my colleagues quitted smoking about five years ago. One day in the office, he told us he would quit smoking right now, not from tomorrow or not in a week. We all thought he was joking, but he was not. It turned out that he indeed quitted smoking. He has never touched a cigarette since then. Later, we asked him what the secret or know-hows was for him to stop smoking so easily. He said that the first week after quitting smoking is usually the most painful and important period to determine the success or failure of the attempt. For the week, people seriously suffer from withdrawal symptoms. They might feel nausea, distraction, depression, etc. The way that he used to overcome them was to sleep for two days, minimizing time to be awaken because most withdrawal symptoms peak during the first 48 hours and his body instinctively needed nicotine when he was awake, making him hard to resist. The other way was avoiding social gatherings that encouraged drinking and smoking.

Good afternoon!
Wow! I want to congratulate your colleague for that.
Most smokers say that it is really difficult for them to quit smoking.
They tried but they didn\'t succeed. I think it really depends on the person if he is determined to quit.
You are really improving! You are making wonderful sentences these days. Keep it up!
See you in class!
