Do you think a mother is a better "stay at home parent" than a father? Why or why not?

If we had to choose between the two options – who should stay at home, a farther or a mother – I would stand on the side of the latter. In general, a mother is better than a farther in raising his/her kids such as feeding, caring, and nurturing because women, in nature, were born to be a mother. A mother will go to all ends to keep her young from harm's way. This is true for all animals where the maternal instinct is believed to be hard-wired to the brain. Practically, a farther will face a lot of challenges especially when raising his daughter because he’ll reach a point that he cannot be a good counselor for her daughter’s delicate sexual issues that she might face as growing up. However, the most important thing is the quality of time you spend with your child at home regardless of whom is a stay at home parent. Moreover, as living expenses are high these days, most household are have difficulties to make both ends meet so that both parents have to work without a choice.
