Do you think children are becoming more dangerous and violent these days? What advice would you give

Even in ancient times, old generation used to accuse children of being spoiled, discourteous, and ill-behaved. They might have thought that young kids in those times became more dangerous and violent. Even today, as I’m getting old, I myself think that I didn’t behave like kids these days when I was a kid. I was more polite and respected the elderly. A few days ago, I was riding a bicycle on the narrow road and I didn’t steer well, so ended up lightly hitting a teenage girl’s right hand who was walking ahead of me with her few friends. She turned around and gave me an icy look while ripping out bad words like “shit”. I have never ever expected such bad words out of teenager’s mouth. It seems to be true that young children are becoming more dangerous and violent these days from our old generation’s stand point. However, looking at history, this could be just natural things that can occur like our behavior when we were young was also worrisome to our parents’ generation.
