Do you think generation gaps allow the older generations to have more \"authority\" in their relationships with younger people?
I think that generation gaps come from differences in emotions and values between generations.
and they are mainly caused when each of generations shares one\'s different experiences by each other.
So, I\'d like to say that the reason why older people have more authority is
that when older people are with younger people, I think older people are getting more authoritative when their emotions and values,
in other words, their experiences are not respected by younger generations.
So old generations used to say to younger generations that \"When I was in your age, Blah, Blah, Blah...\" in order for their experiences to be respected. Currently, as far as I know, YOLD(Young OLD, They are old in ages, however they can not be treated as old people because they are still young physically, mentally.) tribes appears, the generation gaps are getting disappeared slowly.
