Do you think it is easier for a man or a woman to be single?

It would be much easier for a woman to be single because of various reasons. Especially when people are old, a woman tends to live a happier life by herself than a man. Many researches and surveys show that a single woman is more satisfied than a man with her life without her significant other. It seems to be true when I actually look at single people around me. A single man looks somewhat lonely and pity. Even if he is making a lot of money and regarded as a successful person socially, his life seems to lack something. Is it just my personal perception? Whereas, many single woman in our society live a decent life. They often travel to all kinds of exotic locations all over the world. They lie down on a beach and enjoy tanning under the sun. They have their own luxury cars and enjoy driving during the weekend. They often go to see a famous musical or a movie. A single man often has a hard time to spend quality time. They often kill time by drinking without doing meaningful things.
