I think there are various reasons why they do this. I think the main reason is that promotional effect is outstanding when celebrities advertise. I don\'t think that it is inappropriate for celebrities to do product placement. That is because consumers can\'t know that new products are released without advertisements. In addition, if popular celebrities introduce products to consumers, it would be easier for people to come to be interested in the products. Regarding this point, it is inevitable for companies to pay megabucks in order to promote their products. In fact, many companies benefited from advertisements that celebrities endorse. In this point, I would say it is worth. However, I think exaggerated advertisements or fake advertisements using celebrity\'s fame should be banned in the market. To sum up, I believe that it is reasonable for companies to pay to a celebrity for promotion. But, they don\'t have to do exaggerated or fake advertisements by abusing celebrity\'s fame.
