I think that Koreans generally look better today. It's quite clear when you compare them to their ancestors shown in old pictures. But I think that's because now people are getting well nourished. Regarding to the cosmetic surgery, many Koreans eager to have a westernized appearance and more and more people endure the risks to get this kind of procedure. Media also encourages people to have the westernized beauty criteria. So I can say that "Koreans generally look WESTERNIZED today than when cosmetic surgery wasn't so common". There always is a trend in the history which overwhelms people and they want to follow it all the time. However, no trend can stay forever. Few decades later, we could have a different trend.
