Do you think news stations are neutral when they report on terrorism?

We all have been taught and learnt the importance of journalism. The media such as broadcastings, newspapers, and even on-line news media should be impartial in reporting news regardless of its nationality, ethnic, religion, or gender. However, the reality is way different and far from our expectations. Not on only terrorism, but on other general issues like trading, human rights, and sports, most of media tend to take a side for their own interest or for their nation’s interest. Even in a country, the conservative and progressive media are divided and often have conflicts. The view and tone they are taking in reporting the same issue is quite different depending on the media.I understand that the editorial could vary depending on their companies’ philosophy, cultures, value that they pursue. However, when it comes to reporting news, they should be neutral and not biased. Facts should not be intentionally disclosed, manipulated, exaggerated, partially excerpted or distorted.
