Do you think that every future politician should be vetted for security reasons?

Some people say that we are vetting politicians too much. Politicians or high profile government officials are blaming the media and the public for their excessive vetting. I do agree that vetting that has a political motivation should be refrained, but the reasonable level of vetting should be conducted or even further encouraged. Who you are now is important, but your past cannot be ignored because what and how you thought and behaved dictate who you are. Your past has shaped the person who you are today. People cannot change so easily. The vetting should include significant examination into the background of the candidate to analyze either falsehoods the candidate might utter when running for political office, and to evaluate the potential problems in the past history of the candidate that could be a liability in attempting to win political office. There are so many politicians who disguise themselves as angels, but later turned out to be real evils.
