I do not think that punishment for violent crimes should be the same for juveniles and adults. It is true that teens or young kids are not mature enough to make a right decision. They often are not aware of how serious it is to commit a crime and how it will affect the rest of their life. They are not conscious of the consequences of their indiscreet behavior. Although they are vulnerable to temptations, they can be rehabilitated much easier than adults through appropriate programs and intensive care because their personality, attitude and view have not been formed firmly yet. They have a lot of potential to be reborn so that an opportunity should be given to them rather than focusing on punishment. The earlier is the best when it comes to disciplining juveniles. This is why almost all countries enforce different regulations including punishment for juvenile crimes. It's probably adults' fault to let them grow to be real monsters who commit heinous crimes.
