As a team player, I devote a lot of commitment to achieving objectives. I try to come up with a creative idea to tackle the problem and accept constructive criticism. As a customer service associate at Dow Jones, the retention target took a huge part in KPI. Since there was no Korean option, it was difficult for Korean subscribers to respond due to miscommunication which led to misunderstanding. Accordingly, I volunteered to take all the cancellation request call from Korean customers and redesign the retention strategy. Throughout the process, team members provided me with advice regarding the feasibility and fairness of new tactics. Consequentially, the new retention strategy allowed a 10% increase in overall target, and unlike past, customers were more willing to accept goodwill even provided by an English agent. I would like to contribute a collaborative mindset and critical thinking skills to the Bloomberg analytics team.
