Does a person still need to learn other languages if he or she is good at English?

I believe people should equip with other languages even as fluent English speakers. There is an opinion that English is the universal language, so people could easily com[이름]icate with the English skill. However, many countries do not have English as a first language. Therefore, there could be some barriers to full com[이름]ication. Alongside this, empathetic listening is beneficial in understanding a different culture. This type of listening is impossible without full comprehension of the counterpart. In this sense, speaking other languages helps understand others.
