Does your country look after its old soldiers well?

Frankly speaking, I don't know exactly that what benefits our country provide to our old soldiers. This is because I am a woman and not interested in such a story of soldier. So, I searched for information related to our old soldiers. The story I found mainly covered the soldier who have attended several wars: the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Even though he attended such dangerous wars, our nation had not paid him even a retirement pension because he had not served in the army over 20 years. So, he filed a suit against the government, and at last received his unpaid retirement pension with a lawyer's help. Of course, I believe that there may be many good stories related to old soldiers. But like this news, there may be people who have not been properly compensated with their hard work in our country. So, I can't say adamantly that our country is looking after our old soldiers well. I just think that the government should take a proper action to compensate for them if it doesn't.
