Earning money and having free time.

There is always a trade-off between devoting time to work and having free time. It is a common belief that being well-off is a prerequisite for happiness in one\'s future, which usually is associated with material abundance, though s/he has to sacrifice today\'s pleasure. In constrast, there is another argument that individuals should enjoy quality time right now, echoed with the saying \'You Only Live Once\', as long as they are making a necessary living. Both perceptions are partly true since no one can be sure of whether today\'s loss will be compensated by tomorrow\'s gain, and of what will give you more satisfaction. However, I personally believe that having sufficient free time is a better option, considering the essential feature of money as it is simply a mean for people to achieve the end. Therefore, individuals should focus more on what they are going to do with money, rather than just having it much, in order to prevent themselves from being burnt out.
