I’m a bit skeptical about the opinion that the modern technology makes life more convenient or was life better when technology was simpler. Yes, to some extent, without a doubt, we are benefiting from the model technology such as we can get a plenty of information on internet, buying goods without bothering ourselves going to shopping malls, submitting documents, exchanging message instantly or real time with a person who lives in the other part of globe, contacting a person anytime we want via a cellular phone, etc. However, there are also huge adverse effects due to the technologies. Think about a computer. When a personal computer was rolled out in the market, people expected that we would face paperless working environments and have more free time because the computer can expedite the process and bring out a result much faster. In reality, it is the opposite. We are now struggling with a pile of papers that are ten or 100 times more than before and always pressed for time.
