If I raised a body, I would not pay attention to curfews, but as a farther that is raising a girl, I strongly support the idea of setting curfews for my daughter although she would not like it. Giving and respecting freedom is important, but we also need to be aware that the environments in the real world in which we are living now are venerable to crimes and accidents especially at late night. On an every single day, we experience directly or indirectly and hear violence, crimes, murders, accidents, and etc. without exceptions. If we set curfews at an individual level like at the family level, not enforced by the central government, it can greatly contribute to reducing crimes and accidents. This is way many families even in advanced countries set the curfews for their children. Of course, although there is time limitation set to be home, I would allow her to be late once she has a valid reason for that.
