My grandmother was a great person. She did everything for her grandchildren. When I was young, my mother lived in the city to make money to support her family.I lived with my grandparents and my grandmom has taken care of me all the time until I went to high school in Seoul, moving from my home town. She filled in my mother. She helped and encouraged me to concentrate on my study. She has never scolded me even if I made a mistake. She was so proud of me. We were not rich at that time, but she made all the efforts to feed us well, dress us, and support us. Although they did not have any academic background, they had the wisdoms of life, how to respect others and how to love their kids. Thanks to her, I could grow without being emotionally hurt by any external impacts. When I think of her, I feel sorry because she scarified her life for her family and she has never lived an easy or decent life. She suffered from dementia and could not move her body for almost 3 years until she passed away.
