People think that teachers are diligent in general and have a sufficient knowledge about their field and try their best to guide students appropriately.
In Korea, there is a proverb that king, father and teacher are equally important.
Among three persons, the teacher is the main character of this proverb.
We already know that a king is an essential person in a country. We also admit that a father is indispensable in a house.
So, treating a teacher like as a king or a father reveals how much we respect a teacher here in Korea.
There are another proverb related to a teacher, saying that \"do not step on the teacher\'s shadow\".
It also discloses that Korean indeed esteems their teachers.
