Well, it is a subtle question. There are two opposite aspects.
Let us consider one side.
In the weekdays, a hotel and transportation fee are relatively low.
So, when we take a day off in the weekdays, we can go a popular tourist spot with a low cost.
We also enjoy there without dense population.
However, the downside is that most of my friends are not off in the weekdays.
Assume that I am disengaged while others are quite busy.
We often have to stay alone, feeling the loneliness in the crowd.
Now the question is which one am I prefer to? Either calmness with low price or hustle-bustle with friends.
For me, I usually choose the latter one.
