Although it’s true that inner beauty is a beauty that shines within you and beauty remains inside you, it is too naïve to say that beauty is only skip deep. Millions of people undergo cosmetic surgery every year. While some cosmetic surgery is done for medical reasons, such as reconstructing facial features after an accident, many others voluntarily choose the medical procedures to improve their appearance because physical appearance plays a critical role to get a job, to get promoted, and to be socialized with people. We’re judged on our appearance all the time. It can also help some people to improve their self-esteem and it would greatly enhance their quality of life. We live in a world that is image obsessed. However, we should promote the idea that inner beauty does last forever although outer look changes as time goes by. People should be content with themselves and not be so hung up on their looks. Let me say that outer and inner buauty go hand in hand.
