Essay: shopping

I usually do not make a shopping list and neither does my wife. We prefer going to big discount stores near our home rather than going to traditional street markets because the big discount stores have much wider selections and it’s convenient to park. We go shopping sometimes just for fun like window shopping or sometimes for buying things needed. As we do not make a shopping list, we often purchase goods on impulse. Whenever we go shopping, my daughter often pesters us for cookies, candies, or toys and we often give in to her demand to make her happy although we are well aware that these sweets are not good for her health. As for the payment method, we usually pay by credit card, not cash, to get tax deductions. The government is encouraging citizens to use credit cards to prevent businesses from dodging paying their taxes. It’s obvious that we need to make a shopping list in order to avoid the impulse buying and to prevent waste money.

I think that it is okay to let a child eat sweets from time to time, provided that you let them drink lukewarm water right after.

Also, after drinking, they should brush their teeth and gargle to avoid oral and throat problems.

I agree with your government\'s suggestion.

We know that big companies, no matter how rich their owners are, would always do their best not to pay for their dues to the government.
