Yes, I have heard about “White Lies”. I think it is basically not good but just ok. I am a sincere and honest person. When I was young, my parents always told me “Be honest.” Of course it is important to be honest. But the world is not that simple. I have realized white lies keep our life peaceful. I worked at a trading company and I managed schedule of purchased orders. Orders were delayed in numerous times and I needed to talk to customers white lies. I told them it is because of customs matter that we cannot handle. If not, our company lost many customers because they needed products in time for military projects. I had to make report to my boss, the CEO. He asked me impossible questions like "How was your day? Who do you think is the best worker in our company?" and so on. I had to tell lies not to hurt his feeling but it was really uncomfortable time to me. Actually I really don`t like him. After those social experience, I am changing my thought for my peaceful work life.

Sometimes we tell lies not to hurt other people\'s feelings or to avoid any arguments.
