Fake news.

Fake news is an emerging issue in the contemporary world that alters our lives considerably in both political and social aspects. For one, some politicians are proactively voicing particular kinds of misinformation in order to utilize them in favor of their political goals. A political party intentionally come up with fake news to undermine the foundation of a competing party, enabling it to circulate in public via various forms of media. This is such an inconsiderate and irresponsible action to take, considering how significant politicians\' influence is on a certain society. Closely related to that, fake news exacerbates social cleavages within a society since different groups of population are likely to be exposed to dramatically different information on communal matters. If this situation goes further to the extent that no one could be sure of what is right or wrong, people will feed on what is suitable for their predisposition, making it more difficult to achieve social solidarity.
