Homemade CHA zeolite particles with Si/Al of 2.5 and average particle diameter of 6 µm were ground to nano-size seeds by planetary ball milling (Pulverisette 6 Planetary Mono Mill, Fritsch, Germany) under wet-grinding conditon at room temperature. 5 g of CHA zeolite particle, 40 g of zirconium oxide ball with 0.5 mm diameter were placed in a 225 ml grinding jar containing 140 ml of distillated water. The grinding conditions were for 6-100 h with rotation speed of 200-400rpm. Morphology of seeds was observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM, JEOL JSM-7000F), and particle size distributions were measured by dynamic light scattering (DLS, Microtrac-Nanotrac wave particle size analyzer). Each grined seeds were dispersed in distillated water witout drying to prepared colloidal seed solution of 0.005 wt.% and stored in a pp bottle after ultrasonication.
