Globalization is a major trend that has a tremendous amount of impacts on people of which advantages and disadvantages are in question. People could be benefitted by globalization in certain aspects such as travel and career opportunities. It is way easier to visit countries abroad, thanks to the advanced transportation technology, than it was decades ago. Thereby, a number of populace are seeking not only to spend short period of time overseas for their holidays but also to find employments in order to stay abroad longer. However, there are clear disadvantages in globalization as we are now seeing the coronavirus outbreak. The cutting-edge technologies devised to allow people and goods to be more mobile are turned into highly useful means that spread the virus all over the world. It leaves most countries with very limited time that are far from enough to prepare measures to deal with the situation. Given that globalization is irrevirsible, we should focus on amplifying its benefits.
