Hello teacher~ Here is my essay about the \"Nuclear energy\"

<Nuclear energy>
All the people know and approve that we need to develop alternative energy, because fossil fuels has limit to use.

But among the alternative energy, there is a energy that cause controversy.

Some people agree with developing it, because it is a eternal energy.

But others concern about the safety.

What this energy is?

It is nuclear energy.

Wikipedia encyclopedia defined it, a energy that is the use of exothermic nuclear processes to generate useful heat and electricity.

Nuclear is relating to the nuclei of atoms, or to the energy released when these nuclei are split or combined.

It is too powerful energy, so it was used at the world war two.

We know well about world war two ended on August 15, 1945 after the United States dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan.

At that time, lots of people died and polluted the atmosphere in Japan.

Like this, nuclear is a powerful energy, but it is so dangerous and careful to use.

Approval people claim with 3 reasons.

Firstly reason is that large amount of energy is produced with a smaller amount of nuclear fuel.

secondly, it easy to monitor, thirdly, it is Eco- friendly energy because, it does not pollute the environment much.

Disapproval people strike back their opinion in 3 reasons.

>> People who disapproved it stroked back and they have three reasons why.

Firstly, it is too dangerous to use and develop it as we could know how powerful an atom bombs in hiroshima was.

>>DID YOU MEAN: First it is too dangerous to use and to develop because we already know how powerful atomic bombs can be just like what happened in Hiroshima.

Secondly, It cost too much comparing with good effect and profit.

For the last, according to GALLUP\'s doing a survey, 70% of people who took part in a survey, concerned nuclear disasters.

I totally understand approval people\'s positions and the proper reasons what they argue.

But, In my opinion, I\'m one of the disapproval people about using and developing nuclear energy.

And there are 5 reasons and opinions why I do.

Firstly, there is a fatal demerit, insecurity.

>> Firstly, because of fatal demerit.

It is powerful energy, and we can not prove that there are not any nuclear accidents or disasters forever.

>> It is a powerful energy so we are not guaranteed that there won\'t be nuclear accidents or disasters that will not affect us in the long run.

So, if the nuclear power plant burst, we would have to have terrible result like Japan did.

>> If the nuclear power plant burst we will experience what Japan experienced.

Secondly, there is a good model of developing alternative energy except nuclear energy, Sweden.

In Sweden, it has succeed in natural alternative energy ( solar heat, geothermal heat, wind power bio-gas except nuclear energy).

It has tried to reduce fossil fuels and invested in developing alternative energy except dangerous nuclear energy.

If Republic of Korea invested in developing natural alternative energy instead of developing nuclear energy 20 years ago, efficiency and safety would has proved.

So I want to say, there are many ways to develop alternative energy, it has to be nuclear energy.

As Sweden does, we could find other safe alternative energy instead of dangerous nuclear energy.

Thirdly, There is a miserable example of using nuclear energy.

It is Ukraine.

In terribly destroyed cattle land in Ukraine, it is quite probable that outbreak cancer.

>> It terribly destroyed the cattle land there. It was probably that time when outbreak of cancer begun.

Even under the regulation by England, it outbreaks cancer and leukemia cancer of the blood continuously around the nuclear power plant and the nuclear dump sites.

According to this case, we could know that how dangerous and powerful energy is.

Fourthly, there is no way to dispose the nuclear power plants yet.

And the last reason is that it’s not easy to shut down the nuclear power plants after we built it.

To sum up those opinions, nuclear energy is so dangerous and powerful energy, so it\'s very good not to use nuclear energy and find new natural alternative energy.

But if that is the case, we should use it always carefully.
