Government's intervention in Pricing
학생이 쓴 원문
Since the subject you've given was covered previously, let me write about Price Control. We believe that the regulation has gone too far, depriving businesses of their autonomy. In the consumer-based society and a capital-driven citizenry, it is important to understand the government’s intervention should be kept to a minimum to encourage fair trading and free competition. If the government tries to control price of products, it would lead to a shortage of supply and eventually trigger to raise prices, which will do consumers harm. The government should let consumers and producers make most decisions that mold the economy. We wonder what countries in the world are regulating as such to force manufacturers to disclose all their parts prices information on their website. We do not believe this will contribute to improving well-being of the citizens. As many economists usually agree, prices controls don't accomplish what the government is intended to do and are generally to be avoided
