During the lunar new year I went to my grandparents house in countryside. I met all my relatives and of course, ate tteokguk,rice-cake soup. In Korea we have to eat tteokguk every new year because it's koreans own custom. Eating tteokguk means you are getting one year older. So when you eat two bowls then you'll be two years older(So don't eat too much.^*^) I also ate japchae, mixed dish of boiled bean threads, and bulgogi, (sliced and seasoned) barbequed beef. It's so delicious~ In the morning I bowed to grandparents and received new year money, hehe. At grandparents house the snow had piled up a lot so I played snow fighting with my cousins. And we took a short adventure around the village to walk through frozen fields. It was very fun. I hope you enjoy the lunar new year too~♡
