Have you ever been in a traumatic situation?

When I was young, I grew up with my old brother in my home town located in the country side. Ido not remember exactly, but it probably happened when I was in my third or fourth grade. There was a dam to supply water for cultivation in my home town. It was quite big, approximately 100 x 100 meters wide and more than 10 meters deep. One day, we went there and enjoyed swimming without wearing life vests around the floodgate. There was a spillway that was designed to pass over topped water from the upstream side of the dam to the downstream side. The slope of the spillway was about 45 degrees and more than 30 meters long. While swimming, my old brother was swept by the tide and drifted away over the floodgate.And he was dropped to the spillway and flowed all the way to the bottom of the spillway from the top. The spillway was made with concrete. When I saw the scene, I thought I lost my brother.Fortunately, he survived, but the horrible accident left him awful scars all over his body.
