Have you ever had any memorable or funny moments while camping?

I used to go camping often with my two children during summer vacation. A memorable thing happened when my eldest seemed to be 7 years old and my youngest to be 4 years old. When I was taking care of my children alone without my wife, set up a tent, cooked, and was about to have dinner with my children, A middle-aged couple who were camping right next to us cooked delicious food and invited my family. But my children didn\'t like going there, so they stayed in my tent and I went to the couple\'s tent. After a lot of time eating with the couple, the woman told me to go to my tent quickly. So I looked towards my tent and my eldest daughter was staring at me with her arms crossed in anger. I hurried back and apologized. my children were waiting without eating any food until then. I didn\'t know that much time had passed in the tent and I forgot that only my children were left . I was a immature novice dad. Even now, sometimes when my children talk about it, I feel really ashamed.
