Have you ever seen a very bad accident? What happened?

Fortunately, I have not seen a very bad accident in person. It goes without saying that, it would be awful experience for someone to witness the scene of a dramatic and tragic accident such as car accidents or natural disasters. If he/she has gotten into the traumatic or terrifying accident in which serious physical harm occurred or was threatened, the situation would be worse. They often cannot stop remembering it. They will suffer from a nightmare, which makes them impossible to live a normal life. The symptom is called Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The worse the trauma, the more likely a person will develop PTSD, and the worse the symptoms. The most severely affected are unable to work, have trouble with relationships, and have great difficulty parenting their children. It even can develop to alcohol abuse or taking his/her own life. Our society should pay close attention to those victoms to help them recover as fast as possible.
