Good evening! I think I currently have done my homework in the evening. I'm in library now and I ate some snacks with my friends 20 minutes ago. While coming back to library, I received message that there will be a party to celebrate the beginning of the lecture. May be that will relieve my stress. HA! HA! Anyway I will focus on my assignment again. See you tomorrow morning! Here is my homework. 1. We earn our life (living, livelihood, life, lived) in America today in peaceful competing (competition, competing, competed, competes) with people all across the Earth. Profound and powerful (powerless, empowering, powerful, powered) forces are shaking and unmaking (made, making, unmaking, unmade) our world, and the urgent question of our time is whether we can make change our friend and not our enemy. This new world has already enriched (richen, enriched, riches, enriching) the lives of millions of Americans who are able to copete (competed, compete, competition, competing) and win in it. But when most people are working harder for less, when others cannot work at all, when the cost of health care devastates families and threatens to bankrupt (embank, bankrupt, bank, banking) our enterprises, great and small, when the fear of crime robs law abiding citizens of their freedom (freedom, freeing, freed, free), and when millions of poor children cannot even imagine the lives we are calling them to lead, we have not made change our friend.
