I want to go academy. >>I want to go to the academy. I want to go library with my friend. >>I want to go the library with my friend. Why did you add 'to the' in the first correction? but you didn't write 'go to the library' in second correction,just go the library. tell me why is that? plz~:)

I am sorry for that, and I also thank you for reading and telling me what I have missed correcting.       There should be “to the” after “to go” speacially in places. But be careful because it is not the case all the time. Study the examples below: CORRECT: …to go to the bank (place) …to go to the subway (place) …to go to the Military Service Training (event) …to go to the  mall (place) NOT CORRECT: …to go to the home >>…to go home (place) …to go to the their party >>…to go to their party …to go to the Australia >> … to go to Australia
