Tell me about a culture in Korea that is still strongly followed by the people. Do you think it needs to be changed or not? Why?
In Korea, the culture that is still traditionally followed is memorial service for my ancestors.
The memorial service to parents and grandparents is thought to be a good tradition, but I think the memorial service for old ancestors puts a burden on descendants.
Today, memorials for ancestors are good for a family to meet together and remember, but it is also inconvenient for distant members to gather several times a year.
So I hope that the memorial service for the ancestors will be changed to the direction of gathering together once a year.
I think traditions will always be in a convenient direction, although we want to keep it, young people will choose a convenient way.
