Good morning Kirk! You\'ve got another astounding revelation here. My take on it is that it should always come with an application part. Putting words in black and white is not enough for you to remember them in a snap. You need to make use of them as often as possible. You need to read as many English texts as you can an encounter those words over and over for you to be very familiar with their proper usages. Hopefully, these tips would be very helpful. And as I have already explained to you earlier, in English proficiency tests, it is highly probable for you to be given choices that look correct but if you are asked to choose the best one, you really have to be very vigilant in recognizing their differences. The example that I have given you is one of the trickiest ones. Letter C is the correct answer because it best describes the picture given that all the other three are purely assumptions.
