I read another article that I have to summary and present last week. Professor said that if I summary another article, then he will give an advantage like plus points on the assignment, so I read another one whose topic is on capabilities which are quiet important for some companies' growth, but I don't completely understand the detailed content because it's so hard to understand. However, I can understand the main topic and subject of the article. It says that capabilities mean invisible factors of some companies to compete with other competitors successfully. Those meaning is different from that of core competence which usually means technologies and production methods. On the contray, capabilities means abilities that could be all process of value chain of the company. The article takes an example on Wal-Mart to explain the concept of capabilities. Wal-Mart's key capability is based on it's inventory replenishment that makes it possible EDLP(Every Day Low Prices)
