As you know, Chuseok is biggest holiday in Korea to celebrate a good harvest like a Thanksgiving-day in western countries.
Compared with another countries like Philippines, Thailand, Korea relatively doesn't have a lot of land and whether for farming.
That's the reason why Korean thought Chuseok as the biggest holiday nationally.
Basically Chuseok is fifteenth august every years in the lunar calendar, but
September or October in the solar calendar.
I can see that everything in city is decorated with sentences and pictuers for celebrating chuseok.
And I can smell scents of autumn and hear sound of country song.
At chuseok season, most people head to their parents' or grand-parents' home.
It gets better now, but when I was young, it took at least 10 hours to get my grand-parents' home.
Though I sometimes peed in a bottle in my father's car, it remains happy memories in my mind.
Because it was a travel with my lovely family including my pet.
And I'm really missing that time.
