Q. What do you like and dislike about Koreans?
A. What I like about Koreans is that Koreans are polite and considerate to others. We try to help others and not to be rude.
However what I dislike is the confucianism which ironically has emphasized on politeness from of old. The confucianism has divided the role of gender. Koreans tend to think that women have to follow men, for example women are pushed to cook for the men\'s family in national holiday etc. Nowadays many people are aware of this gender discrimination, but still so many people have the old values and impose it to others. I want to get rid of this old and unfair tradition as soon as possible.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for being open and honest about it. There are a lot of old traditions and practices that we respect and recognize, likewise; they no longer apply these days. Hopefully in the future, things will change and old practices that no longer prove to be useful and don\'t show equality must be eradicated. ^ ^
