Hi, joylin! It is a really good weather today! How about your country? I have some questions about English grammer. First, I don\'t know how and when to use the definite or indefinite article like \"the\" or \"a\",\"an\". Could you tell me when I use them? Secondly, I am confused about using a plural form. For example, the words like \"time\" and \"information\" are uncountable. So, I think we can\'t use the plural form in verbs. But , I saw some sentences using \"times\". I can\'t understand that. I always appreciate that you teach me English. HW#12 What was the biggest change the world has today? Here is my opnions. The one of the biggest change in the world is cell phone. Nowadays, the communication speed reached 1Gbps. This means that we can get information very quickly. In the past, nevertheless many people didn\'t have much time to find information, they couldn\'t get that quckily. Now, it is not. The reason I\'m emphasizing is that the information and time is(?) very important today.

Anyway, these are the rules on the proper use of the articles you mentioned.

1.Use \"a\" or \"an\" with a singular count noun when you mean \"one of many,\" \"any,\" \"in general.\"

2. Use \"the\" with any noun when the meaning is specific; for example, when the noun names the only one (or one) of a kind.

3.Don\'t Use \"a,\" \"an,\" or \"the\" with a non-count noun when you mean \"any,\" \"in general.\"

For the word \'time\', it has a plural form depending on what you mean. If you are referring to the numerical time, you can use the singular form such as 10 o\'clock ( this is \'time\' not \'times\' ).

You can use \'times\' in some cases that answer, \"how often?\" like \'two times\', \'three times\', and \'many times\'.

For the word \'information\', you can use this as singular ONLY. Don\'t add \'s\' to make it plural. IT DOESN\'T HAVE ANY PLURAL FORMS. However, if you can use its plurality, you can add some words like \' some \', \'any\', and \'no\'.

For example, \' any information\',\' more information\', \'no information\'. This can determine if it is use as singular or plural. There are also many words that has the same cases such as \'administration\', \'management\', \'advice\' and a lot more.
