My hometown was called “Boksagol”. - Peach called Bok Soong Ah, In Korea. - It means the area where peaches are product a lot. This is because Bucheon was very clean city. However, 1970s, the government announced that Seoul and around the Seoul will redevelop. Finally, whole farmer in Bucheon left to countryside and Bucheon became new born as industrial city. So 1990s~2000s, Bucheon’s air was terrible because of a massive number of factories and smokestacks. In addition, there is only one the airport in Bucheon so very noisy city. Nowaday, fortunately, botanical garden is opening and smokestacks are moving to outskirt and restoring. I heard that Seoul airport can moving to another city for restore Bucheon, maybe. I desire that is.
