When I lived in an apartment before, some neighbors were friendly with each other, but one day I was uncomfortable because they made a burdensome request, and some neighbors didn\'t listen when I explained that it wasn\'t our family\'s fault, and only got angry at themselves.

I would agree with you, being close to neighbors is like giving them an opportunity to meddle or pry with your affairs. I always get a bad impression form my neighbor that I am the exact opposite of my mom who is friendly and approachable. IN other words, people are afraid of me. haha!
