A house is kind of building. But home is complex concept. We need any place for stay, thus we can have a house that the using together. So, this 'a house' is same the home.

Hi J! Technically, house and home are words with the same meaning/ concept. You live in a house and you call it your home, right? But a house is simply a building. If there isn\'t anybody living there, will you still call it \'a home\'?
