The war killed many people. The soldiers as well as the civilians unrelated to the war,especially children, women and the elderly, are sacrifice. Korea participated in Vietnam war in the 1960's and 1970's. Many civilians were massacred during the operations carried out by Korean military. But Korea government has denied that. The sacrifice soldiers received compensation from their country, civilians are not receiving any compensation. Korea government have to acknowledge the fact that a civilian massacre, and have to indemnify for them. We established a volunteer organization called "Medics for Vietnam and Peace(MVP)" to urge Korea government to apologize and compensate. It is a private, non-profit,non-governmen organization. Every year since 2000, MVP has done medical activities to visit the area where massacre happened. I am currently working as a founding member of the MVP. I'm planning to go to Vietnam in March this year.
