Hello. It's very cold today. But I'm happy because today is friday. Hahaha. I'm a sutdent now so I really like weekend although I dno't have any plan. Have a nice weekend. 1. You made three errors on your test. 2. We sent you that letter in error. ( = by accident) 3. We sent you that letter by mistake. ( = by accident) 4. I'm sorry, my mistake. I thought you were someone else. 5. The computer keeps giving me error messages. 6. My teacher always points out my mistakes/ errors=BOTH. 7. I thought he was an honest man, but I obviously made a mistake in judgement. 8. There's an errror on my bill. 9. Make no mistake about it: I will win this election. 10. It was a mistake to have this argument. Usually I use the word, mistake. I think error's meaning is more strong. This is not clear to me. See you on Monday.

Well, Error and Mistake are two different words that are actually synonyms of each other. They mean the same thing, but are used in different context. 

But many are still using these words (error and mistake)  interchangeably. 

So here\'s the difference between the two. 

Error is an act or condition of ignorant or imprudent deviation from a code of behavior. An act involving an unintentional deviation from truth or accuracy. An act that through ignorance, deficiency, or accident departs from or fails to achieve what. 

Examples of error:

I made an error when measuring the dimensions.
The computer produced an error when the data was incorrect.
His speech contained several factual errors.
I made an error in my calculations.

Mistake is to blunder in the choice of. To misunderstand the meaning or intention of : misinterpret. To make a wrong judgment of the character or ability of. To identify wrongly: confuse with another.

Example of mistake:
I mistook him for his brother.
Don\'t mistake me, I mean exactly what I said.
The auctioneer mistook my nod for a bid, and I ended up buying a painting I don\'t even like.
I was so mistaken about him.
 I made a mistake when I married him.
