There are a lot of ways to communicate with others other than talking, so I don't think talking is the most effective and satisfying way of communicating with others. I think it depends on the situations. Of course when you meet someone for the first time, talking would be the first and best communication which you can use. And when you get close to someone, talking still can be one of the communications you use but there are also the other ways to interact .
