There is a intergenerational transfer of wealth. And the gap between the rich and poor is ever growing. I think the psychological egoism which desire or pursue only own's self-interest makes this phenomenon. Of course, each person's happiness is a good to that person. However, the general happiness which considered all persons is more important. We call it "justice". So I think the impartial value of world consists in the well-being of all the individuals in the world. And we have moral obligations to promote Happiness and absence of pain of all people. Peter Singer argues that "If it is in our power to prevent something very bad from happening, without sacrificing anything of camparable moral importance, we ought, morally, to do it." I completely agree with him. All human have equal rights. and we should give until we reach the level of maginal utility. We can prevent or reduce deaths by starvation by donating to charities the money we spend in buying luxuries.
