I think it depends on what kind of restaurant will be built in my neighborhood. Because most people like living in silent and clean places. if a restaurant related to sell beer and soju is built nearby my house, atmosphere of my neighborhood is getting worse and noisy. So I do not agree with being built that kind of restaurant.
But, if restaurants owned by famous people in Korea are built in my neighborhood, it's cool and fine to me. Thank to those places, my house's price will be raised and my neighborhood will be well-known by so many people.
I heard that this kind of thing is called "NIMBY". NIMBY means that Not In My Back Yard. Of course, those behaviors are irrelavant, but, I think most people agree with me in this situation. Because it's a matter of defense for guarding my neighborhood. Do you agree with me?
