What's the best advice you've ever given to a friend?

I think my best advice to a friend who had a girlfriend, reached a marriageable age and was worring about marriage was 'Getting married right now'.
He asked how my life change after a marrige and how much money is required, etc, because my friend thought his money is not enough to get married.
At that time I told him my case that I was in similar situation and I got also married with not enough money but the happiness is very very big and advised that no need to worry about money.
Luckily after a marriage, he has lived well like me.
